Official Transcripts of high school grades?

I'm in my senior year of high school, grades are closing for our first report card and I find out I have an F in Pre-Calc. I'm sending out transcripts soon to colleges, will it drastically effect my chances of getting into college?

  short answer: yes long answer: it really depends on the major you are applying for, the school to which you are applying, what your others grades look like, and so on. they will probably require you to send in your next couple of report cards before giving you an answer so i would say, if there is no way of bringing this grade up for this quarter, bring the grade up for the next couple of quarters so they can see that you are trying.
