Hi my BF of 5 years (45 yrs old) keeps his cell phone either on off or vibrate when he is w/ me. Now he has been putting it under his mattress @ night when we go to bed. Is this normal, he tells me it is for our privacy, am I crazy to be upset?

Not at all. You should be suspicious. He doesn't seem that trustworthy. Trust is everything to a relationship. Remind him of that. And don't let him say that if you trust him, you will let him do what he wants. That is not trust. That is not love.

I dont understand putting it under the mattress, but the other parts are being respectful. It is his private phone and his business, and maybe you keep making comments to where he thinks he needs to hide it from you so you dont snoop. just a guess.
