...oh, so the president can grant amnesty to a dang TURKEY--but forget the innocent men/women wrongly locked up via the JUST US system, huh?!?! Why should the president bother with such STUPID NONSENSE such as this?!?! Is he bored, or something?!? Let ME be president for a day. I'd show amnesty to a turkey, alright--right into the dang OVEN or FRYER!!!! And eat it on NATIONAL TELEVISION!!!

Actually I just learned this a few days ago, the Press Secretary is given two turkeys, he/she makes the decision on which turkey to spare and then informs the president who grants amnesty to the turkey....what I have not found out is if it is for the life of the turkey or just for the year, lol
