What to say in the Thanksgiving day?

Male ABers with an SO that observe Thanksgiving - after your honey spends several days preparing for and most of Thanksgiving day cooking and cleaning up, do you highly praise the efforts, or say nothing because that just part of her job?

OINK, OINK. It is not her job.

My wife and I prepare the dinner and clean up together and praise each other as well as thanking God.

My SO and I double-team efforts like Thanksgiving dinner. It's just too much work for one person.

Mostly I do not say much not because it "is part of their job" but because it was in fact her idea, her desire to spend as little or as much time as she cares do doing so. I do nothing to encourage such action because I don't care and my SO is well aware of my attitude towards such events that the less work, the less stress involved, the better but she is always free to test her own frantic levels if she feels the need. +5

Part of her job???...I'm going to stand waaaayyyyyyy over there. For the record I would help prepare and do all the clean-up.

I'm not qualified to answer your question because we don't celebrate Thanksgiving. However, I thank my wife for every meal she cooks and tell her how much I enjoyed it. She does the same thing when I cook.

I'm female and don't cook Thanksgiving dinner...and you can't make me!I will however, throw compliments around recklessly and it seems to cover the 364 days until the next time ;)
