How do you take your credit card off your iTunes account?

How do I get my iTunes account to take money from my redeemed $25 iTunes gift card, instead of taking it from my credit card??

  • Answer:

    in the upper right corner there should be a link that says Redeem. Follow the steps. The other way is to hold the cursor over your email name/username in the far upper right. A drop down menu should pop up with Account, Redeem, etc. Obviously you can select Redeem here too, but here's a way to change which credit card you want to use for payment: select Account, then in the next window Edit Payment Information.

On itunes, go click itunes store, at the top right you will see your user name. click it and put in your password and click veiw account. After that you will see "edit payment information". click that. than where it shows credit cards, click "none" all the way at the left. than scroll to the bottom and click "done. after this it should resort to your store credit not credit card.

I did that and theres no choice of "none" to take off my credit card and i already put the 15 dollars on my itunes but then i wnet to my moms account and she had selected "none" so she has no credit card on file and its easy for her to buy apps etc. when i buy apps i want the itunes to take it from my 15 dollars not my credit card and it keeps on trying to take it from my credit card. how do i fix this?

There is a box that says "redeem gift cards"....click on that and then put in the number you have to scratch off the back.

Thanks, I actually already redeemed the card, it says I have a $25 blance on my account... it just wont let me use money from my balance, it keeps taking it from my credit card instead. How do I make it take money from my balance and not my credit card?
