What's it like as a transitional employee for the post office?

Post Office Employee Liability for Loss and Legality of Docked Wages. Read Description, Please Help!

  • My Mother in law works full time at a Post Office, when she was asked to sign a liability form accepting that if any fault was made she would be liable for the full cost, she reused to do so. She was kept in employment. Six months down the line she is being accused of not doing her job properly, therefore incurring the post office £1500. This is being docked from her wages £100 a month. Is this legal? She is very poor and she is scared to leave because shes worried they wont write a reference and no one will employ her.

  • Answer:
