Are there really people so gullible as to think you can get a job playing (oops, I mean testing) video games?

There are jobs like that, both company beta testers and game reviewers. These jobs are very hard to come by, and ussually require a degree in computer science or programming. Your not going get these jobs from an Internet add. I have a friend who was a paid beta tester. The job wasn't as fun as it sounds.

Being a game tester isn't as fun as it sounds. I know someone that did that and he hated it. You don't get to test the finished product you have to play hours upon hours of games that crash and constantly screw up.You have to keep logbooks of where the screw ups are so the code writers can work out all the bugs. One time he had to spend 3 days just going over 1 small part of a game that had a bug in it. Sometimes they only let you test a small portion of the game and you have to play it for days.
