Piano help!!scales with arpeggios?I have to play Bb major scale with arpeggios.How do I do that?I don't know how to play the arpeggios part

An arpeggio is the practice of sounding the indvidual notes of a tonic cord in melodic sequence rather than a single harmonic (altogehter) chord. the word comes from the Italian " Arpeggiare " which means to be played on harp. So if you can imagine the sound of a harps strings being played in sequence rather than all at once, this is the sound you're looking for. To play the arpeggio of Bflat Major you must sound the 1st degree of the scale, then the 3rd degree, then the 5th degree, then the 8th degree. So in Bflat, you must sound the Bflat(1st) then the D(3rd) then the F(5th) then the Bflat(8th) on octave higher than the first. They can be done in octaves upto about Six in succession, and can also be played hands together. My preferred fingurings are Right hand: 2(1st)-1(3rd)-2(5th)-4(8th) and respectively in the left: 5 - 4 - 2 - 1. Most importantly, don't be afraid to ask your teacher about these things, he's there to help you with your musical education.

To arpeggiate means to play the scale very quickly in chords...but the when playing a chord as an arpeggio you dont play all the notes at the same time. you separately hit each note of the chord very quickly. you sould hear the notes separated but it should be done quickly enough so that the time between each note is not measurable.
