  Launch Outlook and click on the Tools menu at the top of the screen. Choose the "Email Accounts" option from Tools. An Email Accounts wizard opens to guide you through the process. Select "Add new email account" and then click the "Next" button at the bottom of the screen. At the "Server Type" window, choose "POP3 and click the "Next" button. At the "Internet Email settings" window, type your name as you'd like it to appear in the inbox of the recipient in the "Your Name" field. This field is not connected to any Comcast mail setting, so you can customize it with a nickname or an alias if you'd like. Type the name of the Comcast email address you're setting up in the "Email Address" field. Enter "mail.comcast.net" in the "Incoming Mail Server" field and "smtp.comcast.net" in the "Outgoing Mail Server" field. These are the standard settings for Comcast mail, but double-check with your customer service representative to make sure that they apply to your account as well. In the "User Name" field under "Logon Information," type the first portion of your email address before the "@" symbol. In the "Password" field, type the password that you set up with Comcast for this email account. When you are finished entering all the data, click the "Test Account Settings" button to make sure everything has been entered correctly.
