  Start by pressing the "Guide" button on your Dish Network remote. Find the program you wish to record. If it is at a later time or day, you will have to navigate to that time and day. Once you have found the program, click the "Select" button on the remote. A new screen should pop up. Click on the "Create Timer" selection. This screen should disappear and a small colored icon will show up on the TV showing that you have that program scheduled to be recorded.
