What do you do if a boyfriend or really good friend asks you what they can get you for Christmas?

Don't ask for jewelry; that's too personal and has romantic connotations. Do you have any hobbies? LOL a car?

It's a tough question because you never know how much they want to spend. When I get asked this sort of question, I usually answer "some sort of pottery object" because I really like all sorts of handmade objects. I have gotten mugs, bowls, wall hangings - whatever they thought was attractive. But I'm me and you're you, and our tastes will be different. Note that I haven't always liked everything I have gotten, but it was meaningful FOR THEM, so I appreciated it.
