How many pictures can you take with a disposable camera?

How many pictures can I take with my new camera without a memory card? Please, see description....

• I chose to set it to the lowest resolution of 5 options (camera has 12 MegaPixels !) which turns out about 500 KB for one very clear picture. The user's guide tells me that 11 MB are available for internal storage and that 1 MB equals one million bytes. I thank you in advance for solving this for me.

  When you buy a new camera these days, they all come with the smallest memory card possible. They usually hold 5 to 15 photos at best, which is fine for taking experimental pics, then deleting them, while getting to know how to use your new camera. Those first shots aren't usually worth saving anyway, but I recommend getting yourself a larger memory card soon. There is a wide variety of sizes available, but they go up in price quite steeply as the cards hold more. How many photos you want to take before loading them onto your computer and how much you want to spend on a memory card, will be the deciding factors on which card to buy. I recommend a card that will hold at least 100 to 200 photos at a minimum. That way you don't have to worry about having to delete bad pics while the action is still happening and you're missing it, just keep snapping shots and decide which pics you want to save or delete later.
