Best way to print black and white photos?

I print black and white copies of photos and print poetry with the photo. What is a cheaper way of doing this?

• I print the picture then print the poem on one side of the photo. It is very expensive, as it still uses color ink, although the picture is black and white.

  Change the setting on your printer to "print in grayscale only" and that will make it use only black ink.
