Is the PSP's web browser faster than the DS's?

does downloading a faster web browser help speed up downloading itunes on a dial- up conection?

  • i had Internet Exploreer 6 and recently upgraded to internet explorer 8 which is much faster. Although i need to download itunes and my internet connection is dial-up with a speed of 28-30 kbps . Does downloading this new browser help spped up the download or will it not make difference? if it wont speed it up approx how long will it take to download itunes on my speed internet . . . an answer ASAP please . . . xx

    i don't think its broken! so "nimby" your saying that i should download the itunes to a USB stick on a faster computher and put it on mine? is it even possible to download itunes to a USB?

You could try a download manager. Sometimes these can restore broken (interrupted) downloads. Why don't you download the installer to a USB drive on a computer with a faster connection, then transfer it to yours? Is your computer unable to use high speed internet, because of its speed/performance/age, or is it just not available in your area? If your computer is the limiting factor, itunes might not work on it either. Check the system requirements.

although is there anything i can do to speed up the process apart from broadband because i cant get it on my computher! is it possible to download it in parts instead of all at once e.g : downloading it and stopping at 10% then the next time im online start at 10 and download til 20? or is that not an option?
