Well since they only have a small part of the movie. They are only there during their scenes so they are not involved in the adult part so i think not.

There are all kinds of rules for children on the set, from hours they can work to school being available (the original home-schooled child?) And what makes the thing Rated R is largely special effects that the child isn't even there for, anyway.
