Hosting java Tomcat web application on separate remote server from main hosting account?
-
A low-traffic non-profit's site needs can be met easily by a shared hosting account, but due to certain reasons, the web site is deployed using a Tomcat-based Java CMS application. The developers of the site are offering to host the CMS on their own servers, but don't support all the other services (email, mailing lists, etc.) Is there any way to host the domain on a shared hosting account and forward or connect the remote Tomcat servers for a particular subdomain? (with correct domain in urls)
