How do I replace ink cartridges in an HP 5610 all-in-one printer?

  Prepare the PrinterTurn on the HP 5610 printer. Allow the printer to go through its start-up routine. Open the cover on the top left-hand side of the printer. The ink-cartridge carriage will move to the opening and stop.Remove the Ink CartridgeLift the green snap tab for the black cartridge, which is on the right side, or the color cartridge, on the right side, depending on which one you are changing. Place your index finger on one side of the cartridge and your thumb on the other side. Pull out and up at the same time to remove the cartridge.Replace the Ink CartridgeRemove the green tape covering the copper contacts on the ink cartridge. Slide the cartridge into the carriage, push forward, and snap it down. You will hear a click, which means it has been inserted correctly. Press the green snap tab down on top of the ink cartridge.
