Does Off Clip On mosquito repellent really work?

I bought the Off Clip On mosquito repellent, and I have to say that for working around the yard at dusk, it certainly worked for me. I was wearing one and my man was not, he got bitten and I did not. They also last a long time, so you can use them more than once.

It broadcasts a frequency you can't hear but which annoys the mosquitoes, which is a thing I read was discovered by a guitarist who left his equipment on overnight (the next morning, all these critters in his studio were dead.) So, yes, it works well, and that without the chemicals (i.e., never apply bug repellent on your skin on top of sunblock.)

I used one last year while gardening. Actually I think it really helped. The only thing is, the little fan inside seems to slow down by the time its time for a refill, and you wonder if its worth getting refills. That may have been just mine though. I used it an awful lot. I haven't used one this year. Seems like a lot of trouble when you can just spray repellent on and be done with it.
