In your opinion,what would an hourly (LIVING WAGE) be for your area right now??This has nothing to do with minimum wage=

Recent newspaper article.. In New Jersey, a family of 4 needs at least $53,000 per annum to live like humans... HOWEVER, I once met a guy from the neighborhood, who lamented having to take a pay cut from $750K per annum, to only $650K..He complained that he had no idea HOW he could live on that.. (let them eat cake).. I also knew a legal secretary, who's employer (big law firm) asked her to take a pay cut from $50K, to $30K, as the partners needed a bonus, and money was tight..That's how far gone some folks can get...Especially LAWYERS (and polititions)....

I'm in Boise, Idaho and I think a fair living wage would be no less than $13 per hour.

Living wage for this area would be @ $30.00 ph and that would be just getting by.

Lighten up Francis. I was being facetious to make the point that why don't we all make as much money as we want? Why set the minimum wage at $8 or $15 or $80 or $1 mil an hour? Then we could all get everything we want and there would be no suffering anywhere right? If you have even the most rudimentary grasp of economics I think you can figure out what I'm getting at. I could not care less about whether I recieve a helpful vote.

Thanks Shasha,now is that minimum wage or better where they are? Here in BC minimum wage is $8.50 and going up to $10 in 2 years and companies are crying to all get out over it. and a living wage in BC should be $12

I can live on no less than 1 million dollars an hour. And it's absurd of people to expect me to do so.
