How do I set up the Internet on my Vista?

How do I "set your web browser to open .amz files automatically"? I'm using Internet Explorer 8 and Windows Vista. Thank

isn't .amz a file you get when you bought some MP3 from amazon? i believe amazon will ask you to install some programs (a download manager) when you get to that page, and after that, .amz files would be automatically recognized.

Thanks for responding. Sorry but I still don't understand. Yes .amz is the file format of a mp3 purchase from Amazon. I have the Amazon mp3 download manager installed. When I click to purchase a mp3 album I get prompted to RUN or SAVE the file. When i choose RUN the file is downloaded into my Amazon library and then imported into my ITunes library. Choosing SAVE places the mp3 file in my Amazon libary but its in some kind of packed form(ZIP?) I then have to double click the file for the download to complete and the import into ITunes to happen. I'm assuming that I can configure my browser such that I dont get prompted to RUN or SAVE and the file will automaticaly open/RUN and do its thing, or am I mistaken? Thanks again!

yes, the next time you do this, play attention to the dialog box that asks you to either choose run or save. there should be a checkbox below that says something like "remember this action" or "use this action for this type of files". (sorry i dont remember the exact wording, but that should be the only checkbox on that dialog box)
