How can I change my friend's name in my friend list?

Is there a way to change my Facebook name and photo and yet keep all my my friends list and groups list?. I been told

  • and read Facebook members accounts i.d hacked and inpersonated. So I want to use my current Elvis an or mystical photo, I see others do that and remove my personal photos and my name and replace with some other name. can I do this an how keep or save my friends list and groups list? even best way to do it also and also for future site so to advoid any dangers /problems etc. Any suggestions an advise on best way to do this on facebook as well as other sites Thanks.,

    I'm not really sure what you're asking..to change your profile pic, go to your profile page and hover your mouse pointer over the existing profile pic. A Change Picture messege will pop up. Click it, and on the next page you'll see your profile picture, and to the right, a browse option. Browse out to the picture you want to use. What are these dangers/problems? Are your privacy settings adjusted appropriately?

I like to know if there is way to close my acct if must in order to reopen it with not my real name and pictures and personal info, and yet still keep my friends list , groups list, ? reason is I am tired of reading about Facebook members acct I.D. info being hacked into and hacker mis using that persons info and e mail address to make nightmare of there info . I want to avoid this from happening to me, and Also I have noticed, some Facebook members have made up like name and extreame limit info and or made up well like if it was http://myspace.com or one of them sites. So is the above possiable. if not then what is the best safe way to close my account and remove any traces of my personal info and family pictures etc. For I have read it is a nightmare just to close ones acct on FB. and very hard to get picts back or delete, FB will ask 10 20 times while u try to close acct, are u sure u want to close FB acct, why do u want 2 close acct etc and so on so on. So if I have to just close my acct is the only way what would be the most effective way to do it on Facebook?
