• i was recently editing my privacy on my profile and i only wanted my gender and date of birth to be shown to the authority, nothing else. I checked my profile on the "preview" mode, and everything seemed fine. Later, somehow i doubted that everything was fine. I asked one of friend to delete me and see how my profile looks to others. It was crazy, you could see my private information, my pictures, stuff like that. I re checked the privacy settings, and they were how i had originally set them. I don't know how to make sure that all the public can see is my date of birth and gender, since my privacy mode says that that IS all what they see. As some of you probably understand, you would not like your profile to be so public. Thanks for the help!

  Try setting the Birthday setting to "Only me" and see what happens. As for your gender, perhaps there is nothing you can do about that anymore.
