How different would the sports world be if all athletes got paid the same base salary in their respective sport no matter how good they were?

    Everyone wold be bored as only the players who truly loved the game would continue and even they wouldn't have much incentive to do better except for personal reasons. And personal reasons isn't good enough to keep thousands, millions of fans interested.

hahahahaha that will never happen. we would probably see a lot of players quit the game. more of us would be able to attend the games and only serious players would stay.

I don't know if they would be any different. To me, it seems that the onee that are really great, love the game and would do it no matter how much they got paid.
