How can i get my comcast remote to work with my new tv?

i have only cable wire from wall no box{comcast} when i attach to tv says no input available how can i get cable to work

i live in a rooming house and only have the cable wire out of wall i have a new 60in aquos led tv when i hook wire to it only says no input selection available would an rf modulator work?

Call the cable TV provider and have them come out and make the connection. They usually disable it when service is discontinued.

the cable here works there are 7 rooms and it works with no problem for everyone else its my tv when i connect cable wire to it it says no input selected why? when it works fine for all the other tvs? i have a 60in aquos led tv

and they all except for 1 room just connect cable wire directly to tv with no box

would an rf modulator box work? that way icould plug blue green red white and red cables to something instead of only cable wire and would have an input to select?

i dont no if they do or not but thanks for your time im gonna try the rf box this just seems nuts i got this great tv and cant get even one channel to watch
