How do you transfer an 8mm tape to DVD?

How can I transfer the contents of 8mm video tapes to dvd? Are there any conversion tape carriers out there?

Thanks for that but the easiest thing I found was to buy (on Ebay) another 8mm video camera so I can play, edit and dub onto my dvdhard drive before transfering to disc. Thanks for replying anyway Lynda
