How do I connect comcast digital set top box to a Magnavox DVD/VCR unit and my digital TV?

Answer:
This might be a good time to upgrade your electronics and replace your VCR with a DVR. However, I think you will have to get a coax splitter box so you can split one cable into two. Install the splitter box (so one of the outlets on the splitter goes to the TV) between the Comcast box and your TV. Install a digital to analog converter box between the splitter (the other outlet on the splitter) and your VCR. You can record on your VCR but not like you used to. For recording as in the past, get a DVR. Double check this info with your local Radio Shack or TV repairman/electronics guru.

And one more thing: be sure to install red and white stereo cables and a yellow video cable between the TV and the VCR.
