What do I need if I want to print shipping label online?

If UPS picks up my return, do I need to print a shipping label?

  • I chose the "UPS Pickup" option and they didn't give me an option to print a label. The label is only printable for a "UPS Drop-off" option.

    Yes. They need to have the information contained in the bar code to deliver your return back to the shipper, and to prove you actually returned the product.

Maybe when you chose the pick up option - it issues a call tag to UPS. Do you have to call and schedule a pickup - or is that done for you? If so, then the driver should have a label printed to put on your package when he comes to pick it up.

when returning an http://Amazon.com purchased item, the website does inform you of how the return process will work, it does tell you that when selecting UPS Pickup, the UPS driver will have the return label, you just have to have the package ready for pickup.
