Can you make a wireless printer/scanner non wireless?
-
My mom has an old computer and needs a copier/scanner/printer. I really doubt that she will be able to get a wireless one to work because she isn't computer smart and I am not with her to help her hook it up. How can I find one where it can just hook up with a USB? Or can I buy a wireless and just have a USB cord between the two?

Answer:
They should come with a USB to direct connect. My HP office jet 6500 device does. I can do either wired or wireless. If she doesn't have wireless access in her home it's not going to be an issue anyway. If her computer is older, hopefully she has a USB 2.0 port to connect to the printer. Good luck.

As far as I know, "wireless" printers still have corded options. you might want to go to an actual store to look at one and confirm this, though.
