A person managed to find pictures of me and posted them online. How do I find out how they found them? They were never online before today.

Are they pictures of you that you took, a family took, random shots, or what?

I think we need more info on this one. Its too vague. Where were the pics? who took them? Who had access to them? I think a better question would be to ask How to get rid of them? I for one have no c lue.......poor you! Good luck!

The key to finding out who posted them is to know who took them. Have you ever seen the pictures before? If you knew about them, who else knew and had access to them? Also, if somebody really wanted to upset you they could have taken other pictures and Photo Shopped them to look like something other that what was really happening. If they are real pictures of you, and you do not remember them being taken, is there a possibility that you were unconscious at the time?

If they are online, you can contact the website owners where the images are being displayed and make a formal complaint to get your images removed from the site, this may result in the person getting banned as they are not the copyright holder.

Counterattack. Ignore the pictures. If they are nudes or something equally risque, and it is threatening your job, you need to get this person. Is it an ex? Is your job a teaching position or something like it? This information would be helpful. If they're stalking you, go confront them, heavily armed, preferably. Make them feel that they can't do shit to you. Threaten and intimidate, and by all means do not be hesitant to use force.
