Xbox 360 - PC shared internet connection problems
-
Don't want to pay the 40 odd euros for a wireless adapter for my xbox 360 just because it has microsoft written on the side of it, so I share my internet connection from my laptops wireless through the ethernet, which works fine. But everytime I try to connect to Xbox live it says I need to test the connection, so I test the connection and after it will let me sign in, why do I have to test the connection every time? All my settings are set to automatic, is there a way of setting the IP & DNS .etc to manual so it knows what to do each time? If so please let me know what to put where, i'm getting confused with the default gateway. Thanks in advance
