Please avoind racist rants and internet links. I am looking for eye witness confirmation. Publisher's Note: We are now receiving numerous conflicting reports regarding the veracity of this article. Numerous sources on the web (found via Google search) are picking up on this report, just as we did at The Cypress Times. The original writer for this article stands by his sources. Answer:
Sorry, I am no eye witness. I just looked at the link you have given and it says: "UPDATE: Story is now 100% confirmed by second source within the Laredo Police Department" Source and further information: - http://www.thecypresstimes.com/article/News/National_News/BREAKING_MULTIPLE_RANCHES_IN_LAREDO_TX_TAKEN_OVER_BY_LOS_ZETAS/31835 Further information: "HOAX – HOAX – HOAX" http://thearizonalawmanandphoenixpolicegazette.com/breaking-multiple-ranches-in-laredo-tx-taken-over-by-los-zetas-hoax-%E2%80%93-hoax-%E2%80%93-hoax-hoax-%E2%80%93-hoax-%E2%80%93-hoax-hoax-%E2%80%93-hoax-%E2%80%93-hoax-hoax-%E2%80%93-hoax/

I live about 125miles from Laredo and have heard nothing about this I can recall. We are still reeling from the floods caused by hurricane Alex.

I live 200 miles from the border. I would know of such a takeover via the media outlets. I have heard nothing so far.

I saw that at two different sites about an hour ago. I didn't remember which ones so I went back to find them and couldn't. At any rate they both agree that per the Laredo PD and the Webb County Sheriffs Department, nothing is happening. But going to The Cypress Times I read that the "...story is 100% confirmed by the Laredo PD..." If something like this has happened you can bet that everybody and their dog would be on it like white on rice. Tomorrow will tell the tale...
