Why do Americans have a problem with immigrants illegally "taking" their jobs when corporations legally send so many jobs overseas?

  • You always hear about immigration as a problem, but LOADS more American jobs, INCLUDING both skilled and technical labour like computer programmers and engineers as well as manual labour are farmed overseas and somehow this is not seen as the first priority! Why is immigration such a hot button topic when, honestly, it barely scratches the U.S. job market?

    Good question. The two issues work in tandem, but the media only addresses one. Logically, one should be disappointed with the ones who are exporting US jobs to dodge taxes, pay insurance and employee benefits instead of being angry with those who are working the jobs most feel they are above doing.
