How do I move music to sd card?

How do move my music from my computer to my micro sd card?

I bought a 4GB micro sd card to put all my music from my computer on so I could have them on my cell phone. The sd card came with a card adapter but my computer doesnt have a card reader. I have a USB adapter that I can put the sd card in, but when I try to move my music on the card, it doesnt show up. Help?
