I am going back in time...music time...to the 80s. What are some of your favorite songs or bands from the 80s or older music?

Whitelion(don't you forget me now) Psychodelic Furs(Pretty in pink,,) Pink Floyd Thompson Twins(Lies lies lies yeah) Billy Idol(White Wedding) OMD(can anyone remember them??Perhaps name the name??) Donnie Iris and the cruisers.(Ah Leah,King cool,,) The Clash(Rock the Casbah,,,) Bow wow wow(I love candy) The Romantics The Ramones Talk Talk(talk talk) Haircut 100 Divynals(Touch myself) Cardigans The Church(under the Milkyway,Reptile) Zebra(Who's behind the door) Shenade O'Conner(sp?) Rush(Moving pictures,,) The Motels Kim Wilde(were the kids in America) This is just off the top of my head..and in less than 5 minutes,,and I am sick!! I would have to say Queen, Van Halen, Winger, Robbi Robb,Poison, Metallica, Guns and Roses,Kiss and 80s movie soundtracks.

Lots of good one hit wonder bands from the 80's. Like When In Rome-The Promise. The music really had atomosphere. My personal fave was Billy Idol, and I really dug the Europe cd, with The Final Countdown.

"Layla" Derek & dominos; "Whiter Shade of Pale," Procol Harem; "Pearl" Janis Joplin. Before that, Django Reinhardt, Chet Atkins, Caruso, Rudy Valee, Perry Kruger, and "Sweet Mama & The Hurricanes" Crazy Otto, Vera Lynn, Lightnin Hopkins. (How far back do I have to go? It's already 1943?)
