Research Chemical supplier raided for MDMA when it was Mephedrone, what happens now?
-
Hello, I have a online Research Chemical site, and have been involved mainly with selling the 2c-e and 2c-i and other 2c' compounds and what my company developed from. February of this year (2010) I took on a popular compound called Mephedrone. Sold it all as properly and legally as possible. Another gig I did was produce my own herbal incense blends using the jwh-018 and that I can say brought me a few cars per week to buy bulk, per week not day. ( just trying to think who gave the cops the tip ) Anyways thinking everything is going SMOOTH and getting better June 5th 2010 at noon friendly knock on the door. Narcotics, performing a drug raid on me. Im confused literally asking them what they wanted.. the proceeded to say the "GOOD STUFF" Im like all i sell are research chemicals *not for human consumption* they cussed me out for saying that line. Anyways the warrant was for but not limited to a "white residue powder" MDMA (Ecstasy). Which upon them field testing my drone (and after I warned them it will turn it blue) they just insisted of course it will be positive, cuz it is MDMA. I said not a chance. Anyways, I am cuffed and brought downtown. Interviewed for 1.5 hours held in custody for 8 hours. Never charged and eventually let free. However they seized everything I owned, EVERYTHING! So Monday I lawyer ed up to fight them on my property (forfeiture) and he is drug lawyer too so hope that would have helped. So lawyer said its going to be 3-4 weeks for the lab work to come in.. and that will determine what happens to me. I was never arrested or charged or went before a judge at all for this. So we in the mean time get the bond put up on the seized property, and are awaiting now for the lab results to see what the next move is. Lawyer contacts them daily and they never call him back, its been 14 weeks and still no communication from the cop shop about anything to my lawyer or me. What happens now? Should I push my lawyer to get aggressive, or do we just wait for th

Answer:
This is not good news. Hard to find legit suppliers like yourself. Hope this is only a temporary setback.

Good luck; you provided a valuable and legal service and should not be harassed for dealing in good faith. The cops and the system are completely out of line. Sorry I can't give you any advice but since you were NOT selling illegal chemicals or "drugs" I really don't think that they can -legitimately- charge you with a crime, but just look at the damage they can do re your property/assets. Operation Web Tryp was not the first of these police outrages on legitimate businessmen, just like what they did to Mark of JLF all those years ago. I started buying 5-MeO-DMT from Mark back in 1994 or -5, and did business with him for years ...until he was raided. They took his property and confiscated his funds (over $1 million in assets)... despite the fact that he was not doing ANYTHING illegal. Web Tryp was the same, writ large. Essentially these cowboy cops and the unprintable DEA go in and lean hard on the little guy just trying to do business and operate within the law... and the attitude of the authorities is "we don't CARE if it IS legal, you're [offending our oh-so-delicate sensibilities]", and they essentially do a sanctioned smash-and-grab. Pisses me off. Hell, even Great Britain, which is a cesspool of civil rights violations, let their RC businesses operate right out in the open... 'cause IT ISN'T ILLEGAL. So, again, good luck. I've got zero advice though. And please ignore the asshole who called you an arrogant criminal: he's part of the problem, while you were a part of the solution.

F*ck them bi*ches if you know you were in the right and they confiscated all your stuff id try to sue em for it. cops can be complete scum bags and can and will abuse their power rights. i kinda question where you live but if you feel you were completely right id hire a better lawyer (if yours isint top quality) and sue em though wont get you product back you could get more cash. goodluck
