How to be a winner or an alpha male?

Lottery winner's bank accounts: how can people get their hands on the winner's money?

  • I was listening to the radio one day. A man won the lottery. The host was talking about what happened to the man. The man said "Everybody had their hands on my money." I read something on the Internet also that one woman had transferred $2,000,000 of her friend's lottery money into her own bank account. *Now you can't withdraw funds from somebody else's checking or savings account an US Bank, or Chase, or Bank of America or a Credit Union. How can people access even bigger funds from somebody else's account? How?

  • Answer:

I think the man, at least, was speaking metaphorically about all the people that can come in to manage (or mismanage) a large sum of money. You see it when big stars lose track of their own finances and wind up living in poverty at the end of their highly lucrative careers.

I don't know how a bank wouldn't stop that kind of transaction. Even if the lottery winner's friend knew his security codes, that amount of money would make somebody notice. Maybe the friend knew someone at the bank, I've heard of that happening before, but for smaller amounts.
