How do I restore my ipod back to factory settings?

How do i restore my Ipod Nano back to factory settings?

  • Answer:

Download and install iTunes if the program isn't already on your computer. Click the Windows Start button, All Programs and iTunes. The iTunes program will open. Plug either the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod into your device; newer-model iPods use a USB cable but some older-model iPods use a FireWire cable. Insert the other end of the cable into your computer. ITunes will automatically detect your iPod and list it under Source on the left side of the program screen.
