What is the newest computer today?

Is the iMac the best computer on the market today? What is your opinion on this?

  • I have been told by more than one IT specialist that the iMac is the best computer ever made. Agree? I want to buy one and would like some feedback on the computer.

    I looked into the whole mac range when I was deciding to upgrade my old imac 3 months ago and the imac 27" quadcore core i7 bto was the best option and the best bang for your buck plenty of grunt up to 16 gb of ram at 1333 mhz,also the led display is superb it out performs last years mac pro in benchmark tests done if you just brought an led tv it can cost more than the imac. I love using my imac .

I think that depends on what you're looking for in a computer. While not quite as powerful as some of the competitors, it is arguably the most practical, the most beautiful computer on the market. It is also very trustworthy, very low-maintenance and *will* stand the test of time. The software, however, is what it ultimately comes down to, and as for the software, Mac OS X beats Windows 7 with horse-lengths in pretty much every aspect one can think of. Still, while indeed more user-friendly, it does take some time getting used to if you haven't tried a Mac before. Nevertheless, if it is a Mac that you want, and you're not particularly looking for a laptop, you can never go wrong with an iMac!

I promise iMac is best! But if you want to play games or do things like nosmoking does so buy an another computer. Wait with iMac because many of the newest games work for iMac but even Windows7. After 1-2 year will maybe iMac be playable with a lot of games.

I think myself that the HP and or Dell or if your into gaming Alienware are the best on the market, not a BIG fan of Apple products (not including iPod related items).
