What to do about Haitian orphans?

Girls, if you ruled the world, what would you do with all the orphans in the world?

  • Im asking girls this because One: I saw another question similar to this and I thought I'd change it up and Two: Im curious to see what womens limits are to how they will deal with nurturing the orphanes on a scale of this magnitude (given their nurturing powers.) Three: Orphans seem to be the forgotten, the abused, the abandond, and the unsheltered; Traits that have no relation to any type of solace or care whatsoever(sp?).

  • Answer:

I would buy the biggest house and yard in the world to house us all.... Cook for them, and make sure they ate healthy foods and that they ARE healthy, Give them a huge yard to play in, proper schooling which INCLUDES PRAYER EVERYDAY AND THEY WOULD BE HOMESCHOOLED NOT IN THE SCHOOLS THAT THE GOVT HAS CREATED TODAY AND TAKEN PRAYER OF THE SCHOOLS THERE, I would make sure that their every need would be met and that means, love and nurturing, love and compassion from one human to another, teaching them to have love and respect for animals and all the beautiful things GOD has created for us and that includes ourselves... teaching them to that we are put in this world to love and serve GOD and abide by GOD's laws and commandments. Teaching them that there are no colors when we are looking at the people in this world... We are all put here to love one another, help one another. Teaching them that we are ALL unique and special, beautiful in our own way and everything that comes from GOD is good, pure and honest and we are human; so we will make mistakes and we may stumble along the way on this journey in life here but to be able to look to the person sitting or standing beside u or across from u and see them reaching out to help u up and walk with you.... that is GOD's love... This is how we are ALL instructed to live in this world and that is from GOD above who created us all.. Teaching all these wonderful children that forgiveness is a part of our healing and that too should come from our heart.... And when we are searching for homes for all these children,... no one would leave that orphanage without the adopting parents or family being fully and totally, completely checked out in every way..... meaning background checked, financial situation checked, the living arrangements and area OF that home they are going to and what kind of values will be taught,... and at the same time, after they leave to to go to their new home,... it would start out as a trial basis thing for at least a year and then after, it would be monitored the well being of them without giving notice to the parents or family.... It would be very, very, geared towards the child's wellbeing... This is just a drop in the bucket to what it should be... Children and people that have been in orphanages are sometimes scarred for life from whence they came from to be put in the orphanage. So each child may need a little more than the other some attention or counseling but everyone of them would be healthy, happy, and know that they are not to blame for why they are in the home but they will be loved and protected no matter what... No, I was not in an orphanage but I have seen and heard horror stories and it breaks my heart that any one person could have such little thought for another human being and especially an innocent child; that would not take care of them and love them, and raise them up in a GODLY manner.... well... it is not my place or your place to place punishment but GOD's.... This may all sound too deep or too corny or silly for some but it is purely from my heart and I feel the same way about animals too.... that we should not harm or disrespect them... But yes, I wish I had the money, the house and yard big enough; I would adopt them all and I wouldn't encourage them to leave their home there.... There wouldn't be any adoptions.... I would make sure they got good educations, good food, good healthcare, best of clothes to wear, and best of knowledge on GOD and how we are supposed to live and treat others....

If I ruled the world, I think I'd have a lot more to worry about than orphans. Although women are quite known for being nurturing etc, orphans would certainly not get my fullest attention. Orphanages in most countries are not handled well by the state and should be run by the private sector. I would have little to no involvement, as the supreme ruler of not just a nation, but a planet, I'd be thinking a little more on a grander scale. Like, for example, eradicating the vatican for its ban on contraception which ultimately leads to overpopulation of unsustainable countries (or countries struggling to sustain themselves) and atrocious figures of children being put up for adoption. All because they can't support it and should have used a rubber.
