When does the christmas break starts?

WHAT DO TO: I AM FALLING IN LOVE WITH A GIRL WHO HAS A BOYFRIEND. SHOULD I TELL HER OR LEAVE IT?

  • I am a freshman at University living in Residence. I met a girl on the floor below me on the first day and we have been tight since. The second night of school we were both drunk at a frosh week party and she made a comment that she has a boyfriend but would still dance. She said she wasnt sure what would happen with him. Its been three months since then and she is still with him. He is around enough but she just doesn't show that much interest in him usually when theyre together. Ive seen them initimate once a club but other than that, she refrains from talking about him ,especially to me. We usually text every day, even though I usually initiate. She is very flirty through texting and we chill every single day in rez for at least a little. One time when she was upset with her boyfriend, i told her i hope she works it out, and she says " Well c, everything happens for a reasona dn whats meant to be is meant to be". Then last week I found out that my friend has Lukemia, but luckily she will surivve and be ok, and she was very supportive like a friend. BUT then later on AT A restauarnt later when we were hammered, she starts texting em from under the table being like u r so nice, and i am so appreciative of you, i care about you more than you will know, trust me, i was so worried when u were said, because i care about you so ooooooo much, and like it makes me smile that ur ok, and all this shit. However, she is still with this guy and it doesnt seem like its going to end. i leave in a week or so for christmas break and i wont c her for a month. SHOULD i tell her how i feel before i go?

She's giving you mixed signals and it's kind of wrong of her. It's probably the typical freshman scenario. She leaves to college with a bf at home and a part of her wants to explore but another part of her doesn't want to lose the great man in her life. You can either approach her about this and tell her you're into her but risk losing your friendship. Or you can ignore her since she has a man in her life. She has a man which means you shouldn't be pursuing her but she's giving you mixed messages which is not fair to you. I would just suggest you to move on. There's soo many more opportunities for you to find someone who will make you feel happy inside unlike your current situation where you're being dragged along in the "friend" territory. Good luck.

I think you should tell her. Just because she has a boyfriend doesn't mean that can't change. You never know maybe she only sticks with him because she doesn't think anyone else is interested in her. It never hurts to tell someone you love them. If you think about it there are a few ways this can happen: 1) you tell her, she doesn't feel the same, 2) you tell her and she feels the same or 3) you never tell her and spend the rest of your life regretting it and wonder what would have happened if you did. I personally think either of the first two sound way better than the third. It's your life though and you can choose what happens. Good luck.. hope you get the girl!
