First of all, this is a website, please do not use text speak here. It is hard for some people to read. Second, fasting tends to be for a set time, and done intelligently. Starving is done without as much thought, knowledge of what the body needs, and with no set time limit planned.

Fasting is something intentional, with a time limit, and done for a reason. Starving is generally when a person has nothing to eat for a long time, and cannot eat. Although, in the case of an eating disorder, that would be considered starving as well.
