Whats the best way to find a room mate?

how do I tell my room-mate that I don't like the way she talks about my parents?

  • I don't want it physical, but I want to get my point across.. She owns the house, and I pay her, but I can't find another apartment in such short notice, this close to school. She's pissing me off, what should I do?

    Just calmly tell her that they are your parents and you love them. You don't appreciate her saying what she does about them. No one likes to hear anyone "badmouthing" their family so this shouldn't be hard for her to understand. Not sure how you talk about them to her or why she would even start doing this though.

That is a delicate one but you can't bottle it up. 1. You could say something like: "Please can we not talk about my parents. I respect them and whatever you say will not change that! They are after all my parents." 2. You could simply turn your back on her and walk away while saying: "I really am not interested to hear you talk like that about my parents."

i dont know were do u stay but u will surely get a different flat o room soom.. Apart from all that sit with you roommate and discuss your point and xplain that u dont like sum1 talking abt ur parents. How many dayz will u not say anythin. Once u have to do that so y not NOW.. Its yor life and parents are gods. U can do this.. All d best dear....

Flat out tell her! If u haven't told her yet then that means you are either a bit of a pushover, or u believe it to some extent. The more you don't tell her, the more she'll start thinking that aswell.You really should've told her right off the back., when she first said something smart. I'd honestly tell her to watch her fucking mouth.
