For starts, all the simpleminds who say they know the meaning of the Confederate Flag, for starts do not even know what the Confederate Flag looks like. No, it was not the stars and bars. It actually bore a close resemblance to the USA flag, including stars for each state, minus a few red and white stripes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:CSA_FLAG_28.11.1861-1.5.1863.svg The problem with the official flag was that it bore so much resemblance to the Union flag that there was confusion which flag was which when carried into battle. The stars and bars simply became the battle ensign though it was not the Confederate flag, ever. The knee-jerk libs can participate in a discussion of the meaning of the Confederate flag when, and only when, they can identify it.
