Can you use any sd card in wii console to save games?

Answer:
If the Nintendo Wii system has been updated to Wii Menu 4.0, SD cards 2 gigabytes or less and SDHC cards 32 gigabytes or less can be used. If the system has not yet been updated, SDHC cards will not work. Any brand of SD card that is 2 gigabytes or less may work, but Nintendo does sell officially licensed cards that are guaranteed to function properly.References:http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/sdCards.jsp#purchasehttp://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/data.jsp#SDcopy

You can use any regular SD card in your Wii. You should be able to use SDHC cards (the newer, higher capacity version) but may be required to download a system update for it to be recognised.
