what do you think of the rumor that cricket wireless is deliberately disrupting service to users with "flashed" non oem cricket phones?
-
users with flashed verizon, sprint and metropcs phones are ""warned"" that their non oem phones will not function foor picture messaging and internet, yet if you activate the exact same phone but list it as an oem original cricket phone, your service works perfectly conclusion? cricket wants to force users to buy cricket phones from them so they could collect that little bit of money more.
-
Answer:
It may be "just a rumour" to try to convince people to buy their phones, but I very much doubt that they would ever carry out their threat, since the only thing that would happen is that many would just switch to another provider, and they'd lose money.
