How do I make a paper jewelry necklace like Anna Sofia Designs?

  • I have no experience in paper mache or making paper beads but I really want to make a paper bead necklace for my mom this upcoming valentine's day. I wanted to make something pretty like the jewelry on here http://www.anna-sofia-designs.com/handcrafted_necklaces.html but I don't know how she did her designs or how she even crafted waterproof jewelry out of paper.

    I can make one with narrow strips of construction paper and glue, but I don't think that's what you mean. Could you make them from papier mache and then spray them with lacquer to make them waterproof??

Wow those are incredible.
