Whats a good workout for me?

Whats a good cardio workout that I can do at a YMCA or at home? Possibly chest and stomach.

  • I have about 2-3 months left till it's actually nice out and I wanna get into some better shape plus shave off extra belly and chest fat. Yenno have a nice beach body. I'm 6'2 180lbs Male. And would it even be possible for me to get my abs showing in 2-3 months? Any and all help would be awesome. I'm looking for advice and some good workout idea's. please and thank you.

    There are lots of ways to get the body you want in just that amount of time. If you have the cash, hire a trainer to help you understand more about lifting weight, anatomy and kinesiolgy. Don't just someone that looks like they know what they are doing. I see people that are in really good shape do exercises wrong. Make sure that the trainer has been doing it for a while. You don't need them forever - just for a few sessions. There are also lots of great articles in Muscle & Fitness magazine. They offer workout routines every month, but not all of them appeal to a guy that doesn't want to gain lots of muscle - which is for kids and people with low self esteem. You can also join the and find lots of good routines. Make sure to challenge yourself, but don't over do it and end up hurting yourself.

If it's cardio you are after, it doesn't really matter what you do as long as you keep your heart rate elevated. Running in place will do it.

You want the abs and cardio is the right thing for it. Not just any boring cardio though. Dont do the typical 45 minute jog on a treadmill. The most effective way to lose fat is called high intesity interval training (HIIT).
