Why did my question get removed automatically or by someone?

Do 'harmless' questions and answers get removed just because someone doesn't like them?

  • I answered some 'seemingly' harmless questions and when I press on my 'alert' the question goes right to the QUESTION POLLS & DEBATE page. I know it was nothing I wrote that would be considered offensive. Can people just press offensive/nonsense and it will get ANY question removed? It doesn't seem fair if someone asks a question like: "What do you like better, cats or dogs?" and then someone gets the question removed. I don't understand.

Questions are removed because they violate the Terms of Service .. people can flag them all day long, but AB staff has to approve those flags before questions are removed. Also, sometimes duplicates might appear to be removed, but they were just merged with the earlier version of the question. I haven't been on long myself, but I am learning that AB has many clitches in thier program. The question may have been removed; however, it has been my experience that if you check and try again in a few days it will show back up. It can be very frustrating; Good luck! :)
