What are the top job websites?

What do you think of job search websites like Jobfox? What job search websites do you like and think they are legit?

  • I made a profile on Jobfox and now they bombard me with emails wanting me to buy their resume service, I get an email everyday and sometimes two emails a day. I find that a bit annoying. There is too much into having to do on their website and it has nothing to offer. What job search websites do you like that actual companies post jobs on, isn't scam ads, or an employment agency.

    There are actually some really good sites that I can recommend. Craigslist, Monster, Careerbuilder, your state unemployment site (i.e. Worksource), Indeed.com. There are lot of bogus ones out there so you do have to be careful. When I was a hiring manager, I would post job openings on Worksource and either Careerbuilder or Monster.

I don't know of one single person who landed a legit job using the internet. In my experience the only way to get the job you want is to network and meet people face to face.
