Do confrontational TV shows like Steve Wilkos, Maury Povich, and Jerry Springer remind you of the Roman Gladiators and the Mob?
-
The Roman Mob would scream for the death of Gladiators and then enjoy the morbid spectacle. The audience of these shows reminds me of the Roman Mob. Seems like they are just waiting for the fight to occur or see the bad reactions of visitors who are suffering thru a horrible experience. Your thoughts? Normally I don't watch these shows but recently have been stuck in the house with no satellite or cable.
